broken english

when my mother struggles to spell a word in english
I want to break the entire language
into little pieces
so the edges of these letters
will stop cutting her

  2. So short, but so beautiful. I don't know if it's because of the fact that I can relate wholeheartedly, but I really love this.

  6. Even though I haven't experienced the oppressive side of the standard language myself (I'm no native english speaker, but I am a native speaker of the language most commonly spoken in my home country). I really get what you are trying to say. It's so poetic and beautiful in its simplicity. I've never seen this phrased better.
